COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The fifth request for an adult use recreational marijuana establishment is scheduled to come before the City of Coldwater Planning Commission on Monday night.
Aim High Meds, LLC of Sherwood is requesting a Special Land Use Permit for a retail recreational marijuana operation from the existing commercial structure that was built in 1975 at 880 East Chicago.
The building is in between the Auto Zone store and the building where Prompt Care is located at.
City Planner Dean Walrack says in his report to the Planning Commission that several renovations which do not
meet the threshold to require Site Plan Review have begun on the building.
He added the applicant will be required to submit additional electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and building plans when applying for the respective permits. Their final floor plans will also need to be approved by local and State fire marshals.
The Planning Commission is also expected to hold what is expected to be a lengthy discussion on final draft of language to regulate non-household Animals within the City’s residential areas.
